Florida Career School of Massage and Body Work offers a 4 month, 502 hour program that is fully licensed by the Florida Board of Massage and the Florida Department of Education.
A student will have the knowledge and skills needed to pass the National Certification or Mblex Examination. Either test is required to allow licensure to become a licensed massage therapist.
FCSMB offers small classroom sizes and a knowledgeable and dedicated instructor trained in medical massage. Every student gets the individual attention that is needed to successfully complete the program.
FCSMB's instructor, Connie Sokol is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Master Personal Trainer with over 8 years of combined teaching experience in both massage therapy and personal training fields. Connie has over 25 years experience in the medical field with her specialty in Orthopedics. She has successfully graduated hundreds of students and has watched them go on to become successful professionals. Some of them have even went on to further their education by getting degrees in physical therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic.
Connie Sokol also has a private massage practice located in Ocoee, Florida and she specializes in orthopedic massage and chronic pain.
Hands on skills are practiced every day which gives the student the much needed confidence and mastery of the trade. Free open clinics for family and friends allow the student to network within their community and build the confidence and trust needed to become a successful massage therapist. You will graduate from our school with some of the best hands on techniques needed to succeed!

Must be 18 years of age and older. must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment application must be filled out and a medical examination is required.
$75.00 fee should be included with the application form.

Massage Training Massage Training
At Florida Career School of Massage and Body work you will be learning Western therapeutic technique along with other modalities that will make you more marketable in the work field.
Emphasis is placed on learning medical massage modalities. You will learn postural assessment skills , range of motion of the joints of the body and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Learning good medical massage techniques allows a massage therapist to become more marketable in the workplace. Medical massage therapists work on athletes, personal injuries, car accidents, post surgical scars, and pain management.

Helpful Directions: Please make note as we have found that Mapquest, GPS, and Google Maps are a bit confusing in the end. The studio is located inside the massage school inside the Maguire Crossings Shopping plaza at the corner of Old Winter Garden Rd and Maguire Rd. Continuing Education Continuing Education
Florida Career School Of Massage And Bodywork offers continuing education that meets the Florida Board of Massage Therapy's licensing requirements.
This course meets your 12 contact hours which is required by the state of Florida.
Outline: Clinical Sports Rehabilatation
This will benefit those massage therapists that would want the advanced training in accessing postural imbalances, and accessing different types of soft tissue injury and treatments including exercises for rehabilitation.
The Saturday will consist of lecture and Sunday will be a combination of lecture and hands on evaluation, stretching techniques and exercises used for injury rehabilatation. Program will start at 9:00am- 4:00pm both days (Saturday and Sunday.) There will be an hour for lunch
